I like Davies' efforts. He's got a future with Everton. But I'm not sure I'd say he's a class player. TBF, I think he once said in interview that he knows how limited he is in certain respects. Admirable admission from a young player.

yep, if thats the case then he's more likely to resolve those limitations. For the time being, I don't think he should start every game, play him when his strengths can come to the fore

Rarely is for a young player. It allows them to think through what they need to do on the pitch in realtime without actually being involved. Development requires both experience and visualization/reflection.
