I think Davies energy levels have dropped in the recent past and he could do with some rest and being taken out of the team for a while.
It has been a brilliant season for him but it is extremely difficult for a young lad to keep a consistent level of performance over a number of months.

With Davies taken out of the team as you suggest there is absolutely no energy left . All Chelsea would have to do is mark Barkley and Lukaku out of the game and we're utterly toothless. Starting Kenny in this game is a not likely either. I would hate to see a young player thrown to the wolves in a game such as this, unless we had no other option.
Normally would agree that unwise to throw young players into the deep end but Kenny strikes me as having the right sort of mentality to thrive with the challenge - he appeared nerveless when taking the final penalty that won the England U17s Euros for instance.
I would have agreed with you before his recent run of games. I feel since he has returned as a regular for us that he's done quite well on this side of things.
