Nicholas Cage was on the list for a while due to The Weather Man. Tom Cruise for about a decade. I had a spreadsheet on a old works laptop for the reasons why.

I don't subscribe to this theory. Actors in and of themselves are not responsible for the quality of a movie. Between signing on and final release there are countless circumstances beyond their control - script changes, directorial decisions, editing, reshoots based on screenings.

To deny yourself Cage due to a film's awfulness is truly throwing the baby out with the bath water.

I agree, but i was young and stubborn.

I'm older and still stubborn. But, I have relented in a way.

Yeah, youve let the worst two off and denied yourself viewing a hollywood classic. Imagine someone denying themself casablanca, or gone with the wind, or citizen kane. Yes, that company.

I have some form of mental-block on that, regardless of how many times I am informed it's King, I always think PKD.
Anyway, back to hanks in green mile and then the big daddy, Shawshank... youve gotta sort it, its a travesty.
