I dont really. I´d be surprised if its a high wage for a full back sitting in the squad willing to be there whenever needed. And we saw this season he performed capably when needed, if as limited as ever.

Not that I wouldn´t love a Baines/Oviedo/Garbutt type situation on the right also.

Its not about things from his perspective, its about the club. Backup squad player that is willing to stay on a relatively normal wage, IMO, with little to no game time and can do a relatively decent job when needed (obviously opinons differ on that part).
