Don't even hear him mentioned all season long and then as soon as our right back gets injured ahead of a derby and semi final its a case of

'don't worry guys, i'll get my boots'.

I like hibbert, but when he doesn't play for a year he is a bit crap in his first match, and he will be targeted by klopp and Van Gaal, well klopp will, who knows what van Gaal does at times?

Surely he won't be anywhere near the cup semi.

After the last final I thought he would never play for us again.

Hibbert to slated for this cup final performance... and he was poor. However, I said at the time though, that 80% of the pitch was in shade, other 20% that wasn't, was our half, right hand side. Hibbert was constantly in the sun. I was roasting that day. Malouda (i think it was him) played inside left to avoid the sun, and he is of African descent. Hibbert, aka Vladimir Putin, couldn't cope and was treated for sun stroke at HT if I recall.

If he is fit, I would play him. Would prefer him to Connolly or Kenny, who might have their careers set-back 3 years by a derby humiliation. And Stones is definitely NOT an option. Remember the 4-0, he was horrendous at RB.

See mate when Connolly has played more for the team than hibbert this season then it raises concerns for me.

More so he is getting older every year and plays like one or teo games only. Has he even played this season?!

You can't expect a 43 year old right back to be good enough every time you ask him to play if its once a year.

The more i think about it, the more i fear the thought he is actually considering playing hibbert this week.
