Are there any depths this new charlatan won't stoop to?

Not content with telling one hundred million porky pies, Moshiri had clearly changed the club ethos for the worse. Gone is the caring one of the boys Bill and his well-timed geeing up text messages; now we've got ruthless profiteering and the wilful neglect of a club stalwart. What Moshiri fails to appreciate is that if you kick one Blue while he's down, we all limp, and Tony our brother in arms, we're all limping in unison with you right now.

He certainly should have been told. It's probably more of an oversight than anything though with the change of manager etc. but that not really an excuse. Don't think he should be criticising the club publicly though. Silly thing to do. It hard to feel too much sympathy for him when Everton have beebeso good for him over the years. The last few years his contribution has been negligible and yet he still would have been earning millions for it.

Lol what you going on about here mate ? Stay off the gas!
If you stayed off the gas you'd collapse.

Tony was a loyal servant of the club and deserved much better treatment.
However, there are many of us in ordinary jobs that get made redundant where the implications are much more serious. He must have had an idea that it was coming as his contract was ending and he had hardly played in the last few years.
I know several people who have had much more cut throat endings to their employment. Getting marched off site etc.
Tony's contract had ended. There se far better ways to inform people, but the raw facts don't change. He was very well paid and is set up for life.
Most of us can't retire to a life of fishing at 35!!
