Was Speed that good, really? Very steady player for sure but I wouldn't put him in a top 10 of our Premier League era never mind top 5.

I will never understand this

A fully fit and no distractions Duncan Ferguson should in the mix.

One of the most able players we had, but continually under-performed and wasted his ability for disciplinary reasons. I realise this is blasphemy to most other readers.

A less talented player that gave Everton more was Landon Donavon.
