It’s classic for a reason

Debatable. A lot of classic rock people dismiss pretty much every album since 1995 as crap cos the 'kids don't know how to do it ' so they get stuck in their neverending circle and just pat themselves on the back for liking 'real music', like nothing has been since

Plenty of great music around today if you disregard the manufactured pap you generally hear on radio/tv. I’m 60 but still buy new music. That said, like most people, the world was best when I was in my early twenties (music and Everton were boss for a start and I still had a prostate gland)

Dance music nearly destroyed me. I retreated into college rock and folk for a while.

God, the stuff that was not Shaggy when I was in college sucked. Like, I wanted to self-harm at the basketball games when they played Britney's most famous song during the timeouts.

Yeah that's a bit of a blinkered post and not one I'd expect to hear from Alvito who normally comes across as open minded and cultured.
