He cost Liverpool 25 million I think. I wouldn't pay 6 million for the player I'm seeing roaming round English football stadiums.
Haven't seen a player change so drastically from good to bad since Mendieta left Valencia for Lazio

Reckon there's a move back to Spain for him Jamo?

Just as an re to my own post, remember when Forlan came to Man U and he was awful? When he moved back to Spain it totally reignited his career.
Didn't move back to Spain as he'd never been there before. He came to Utd from Independiente in Argentina. But yes the move to Spain did reignite his career.

I honestly believe once he clicks and hits a couple of goals he will be off and running to a very good striker again. I dont see him doing it for Chelsea but spain or Italy maybe he could.

I cant see him being the striker he was but I believe he will get his touch back its just a matter of time.

I'm sure Atletico would love to have him back. Depends how he rates himself on a money scale and how much of a hit Chelsea are prepared to take. Someone mentioned Malaga as a team with the money necessary but without the pressure of expectation you get at bigger clubs. Someone like Paris Saint Germain might be prepared to gamble on him. Might be good for him with the French league not being as demanding as the Prem or la Liga.

Seriously now, this lad has had it hasn't he?! Worst 1st touch I've seen in a long time today, poor movement, poor passing, poor finishing, poor attitude...

Compare him to my new man crush Mr Straq today and you would have said he was the £50m player

On itv1 HD tonight looks utterly devoid of confidence, something is broken with this lad.

Oh Nick! You and your stray dogs! First Shandy, then Bily, and now Torres! And yes it is. He was part of the hideous Red****e horde of nasty niggly pricks and arrogant cuntery that characterised the Benitez regime.

And yes, they are still nasty niggly pricks. But there was something particularly loathsome about Benitez and his three main henchmen: Gerrard, Carragher and Torres.
