Absolutely ridiculous for the squad to be this stretched in August

It was a bit like this last season.

All of McNeill, Harrison and Myko didn't play until September. DCL played 20 minutes v Villa and then returned v Arsenal in the fifth game. Branthy also didn't start the first two.

Going to be a very heavy defeat on Saturday realistically but start of last season showed a poor start is more than recoverable so hopefully a few are back for Bournemouth and especially Leicester away in the fifth match.

reminds me of when we had no squad against chelsea away and branthwaite scored the goal and it finished 1-1

Who played upfront that night, Simms and Dobbin?! Yeah that was a ridiculous point as that was a period where the xmas fixture list was decimated by late covid call offs. Also beat Arsenal the week before with the dramatic late show so that was the highlight of FSW time here before it inevitably collapsed.

We had simms up front on his debut the wingers were Gordon and iwobi, the central midfielders were Gomes and doucoure and the back 5 was Godfrey, Branthwaite making his second appearance, Holgate, Keane and Jonjoe Kenny

Gomes went off after 70 mins and Gbamin came on

Anthony Gordon got subbed off after 90 mins for Onyango

Dobbin came on for Simms after an hour

After this game it'll be highly unlikely we enter positive goal difference at any point this season imo. We'll probably be on -6 or worse after 2 games. Have we ever had a season where we've never, not even for a single minute of the season, been in positive goal difference? We're that bad and so injury-ravaged that I bet even Timo Werner gets on the scoresheet.

I hope, we analyzed the game well.

Spurs were all over Leicester in the first 50-55 min, but then they decided to press higher and equalized, and Spurs looked quite rattled after that. Could have even gone well for a Leicester win.
