We have to win all our home games and Sunderland away. Draw Arsenal, RS and Chelsea. Then we will get 5th.
 
Thought the defence was great today but happened to switch off twice, which is when they scored. Story of our season tbh. The midfield was shoite today. Vic was ace and that kind of sexiness from Kev is wonderful.

Its always "very nearly worked" mate but 8/10 times it doesn't work.

to be honest though, look at the amounts the rest of have spent on their squad. i mean it's embarassing for them that we have a squad on par/better than theirs. i mean liverpool's 3 strikers cost about £75m? chelsea's £50m for one, arsenal's £30 odd, spurs only have two who are about £30m worth between them. Ours is worth about £5m. Not even going to attempt with talking about the amount those teams pay on attaking midfielders as well

This really.

We could have won that at the end but we didn't. Tottenham are an excellent side and a point at White Heart Lane is a great result.
 
Gutted we didn't win. 4th still on but it's out of our hands now, we weren't ruthless enough. Should get it into our heads that two goals not one, allows you to sit back a little. Either way I don't think our season was decided today or the last few weeks, Mirallas injury and piss poor mid season (and awful officiating early season) are to blame, too many draws. Need a foreign manager that pushes the team to be ruthless, look at Swansea and Southampton
 
Sit back as soon as we go ahead. When will we learn. If we were going to sit back and attempt the counter than why not bring Ovideo on for Mirallas? Instead we went with two strikers and no midfield. Gifted Tottenham all the possession in the last 20.

It would have been ok if could of kept the bloody ball whenever we got it instead of giving it back and then inviting more pressure on.

Pathetic performance from some players on that level.
 
Someone needs to change our footballing philosophy and they need to learn how to keep possession away from home and how a 1 goal lead isn't enough when you have 30 min to play. The other isn't clueless like Moyes and will find a way to break the bus apart.
