Naismith for Mirrallas, even if there's no immediate identifiable consequences just reeks psychologically of negativity. Why the **** would you do it ?

Had no problem with taking Mirallas off for Naismith. He was on a yellow and it really didn't influence the game at all.

He wasn't in much risk of getting sent off, it wasn't long to go and he's hardly combative. The ref was fairly relaxed today too. If you're going to take Mirallas off because of that reason then at least bring on someone who can hold the ball up or do something with it. If you're option isn't going to change things then don't do it because Mirallas can always do something but Naismith isn't capable.

Even if he did get sent off, be it ten men or eleven with Naismith, some would say there isn't much of a difference for less than a ten minute period. But the possibility of keeping him on and an attacking player doing something is always worth a chance.

If a sub had to made it was Osman to come off.

Well I think it's fair to say, although we all hoped we'd win, we all expected to come out with a point at best.

Sickening to see Adebayor who is absolutely awful score one then set up one.

If only we could finish games off, but this season we don't deserve to be anywhere near fourth with some of the performances we've put in. We played good today but couldn't finish it, and we all knew a Spurs goal would come eventually, sadly.

Come good performances especially from the likes of Anichebe, Mirallas, Distin and Jagielka, but I thought Coleman and Baines were desperately poor today.

Very gutted here to not win that with 5 mins left to play, but I expected it. We don't win the big games do we?

Why wouldn't we back ourselves to defend when we have been defending very well recently?

The match wasn't calling for the way we were defending, at least in my eyes. I wouldn't even say we were defending, we were basically letting Spurs try to make something. If we'd have played closer to the ball it'd be one thing but we sat off too much, which has been the bigger problem when we do this, IMO.

Spurs changed 6 players today before the game even started plus they used 3 subs and have 20 players out on loan.

Over to you Bill
