Good result, and i'm not sure if its been mentioned but what a great atmosphere on the day. Singing non stop. Especially love the new Kev song. I always thought that the "super kev" song didn't truly belong and was lacking in originality for us. Even though most other clubs have a player that they can sing the new song to, it suits our Kev.

Forget 4th, i'll take 5th. Good result.

True, Walker did seem to have the measure of Baines who probably had one of his worst games against us. We did hit the bar at some stage but i cant actually recall the sequence of events! As i said earlier, on balance i think a draw was a fair result.

It was a fair result but I think if we had held on for the win that would also have been a fair result

A game of football is at least 90 mins, not 74 or less. So, the last 15 mins plus any injury time is approximately 20% of the game....not surprising that goals are scored against, and for, in that time is it?

Just read this entire thread.

Absolutely crushing result in the end for me, 5 more minutes and we'd be 3 points off with a game in hand. No complaints with the performance, was a textbook away game plan which looked like it was gonna work. We were completely comfortable after we went 2 - 1 up, they didn't look like scoring at all.

Think we're just a little too far behind for 4th now, we had to win today; a point is just as bad as none this time.
You're gonna need a big carton for all that popcorn.

Didn't get to watch all of the game due to family commitments but pleased with the result in spite of giving up the goal at the end. From the highlights I saw, looked like Howard had another good match and Mirallas had another stormer of a goal. And from what I saw of the match, Vic once again was making a nuisance of himself to the Spurs defense.

Need the three points against QPR and frankly, I think we can take three points from Arsenal if everyone plays well.

The Spurs game should be proof enough of that. When we have Fellaini and Pienaar back we'll be a fair bit stronger.

I can understand replacing an attacker with a more defensive player in the closing stages when you decide to hold onto a slender lead. My point is that we didn't suddenly decide to hunker down and dig in for the win at that point. We'd adopted that attitude 15 minutes earlier and we were rock solid as things stood. Spurs were constantly repelled and we had good shape right across the middle and back. We'd gotten ourselves into a good shape and groove, with Spurs always wondering about our out balls to Victor and Mirallas.

We had 6 minutes left to see out. The change was not required, IMO. It spoilt a fantastic away team performance from us.

Sadly I could only watch the last 15 minutes of the match. I didn't understand why did Moyes left Jelavic and Anichebe upfront. That's not the way I'd try do defend the result. I'd leave one of them and a more technical player behind the striker, who could provide equal numbers with the spurs' midfield and have that ability to find a smart pass for the counter or who could connect with the striker. I'd have Naismith in but not for Mirallas. I would have kept both on the pitch.

Wow !!! A Sotnas sighting !!! Haven't seen you in awhile. Stick around and good to see you on here again.

Thought we did well since we had no centre midfield at all because gibbo and osman had thier worst perfermance in a blue shirt . We need to pack the hoofing in

Mirallas should also be a lot fitter than he was on Sunday. Play like we can and we'll win. Arsenal aren't this force that they used to be.
