Safe trip everyone going tomorrow, enjoy getting up at 5.

I'll be thinking of you as I saunter out of bed at 10:15 and roll up to the ground for about 1:30

Nevermind 4th (not gonna happen), tomorrow decides whether we are in for a european spot or not.

The difference between 4th and 5th is more than likely going to be very small, you could easily argue that if we keep pace with the others it could go down to the last fixture or two. If we're in for 5th, we're probably also in for 4th.

It would be great if we just needed the win vs Chelsea on the last day of the season to clinch 4th! Then we would all have genuine hope before our hearts are shattered by a cruel defeat.

I'd be buzzing if we knew we would be in Europe before that last game. Europa will do me, despite what some say it's definite progress.

Fourth is a pipe dream, but fifth may be possible... but I feel for that we need four points from spurs and arsenal and that ain't going to happen with Moyes at the helm. I'd love to be proven wrong, but just can't see it. I even expect a much weakened spurs team to do what they need to and stop us winning today.

Or will Moyes have the players fired up for this absolutely huge huge game? Anichebe has to start for me, and I'd get Jelavic up there with him too. It'll all or nothing from this one... imo a defeat kills our season off, heads will drop and we'll end up seventh, with it deemed a ****e campaign, which it would be..

Don't be a massive gang of failures, Everton, ffs, get into these wimps.

Torres would probably score six in a seven nil thrashing

There's no way we'll have a 4 point cushion over 6th going into the last game. If we were to do it it would be the hard way.

Im not so sure myself, Arsenal seem to have their annual 'appear to be struggling sometime during hte season but still somehow qualify for the CL'... I think one of Spurs/Chelsea will bottle it and drop from teh pack, the other two to get 4th comfortably.

Just my opinion though.

is 4 points acceptable? out of them 4 games?

I wouldn't mind if we got three of 'em up the road.

Btw, someone said on the preview here that Everton has a poor record at WHL. Well, we've won three and drawn one
of the last six. I'd take that for the next six.

Right, nevermind the Man U, Man C game. It's already finished anyway, united have won it.
It's this game that is the true final kind of game.

We win this, well... then we can still edge it. Christ. This is the first cup final out of 7 remaining goddamn cup finals. It's still in our hands lids. We're still playing all three of the teams that stand between us and fourth. This is the first of them and should rightly state an example to the rest.

effing COYB. We'll have this one by the balls come half time, they'll claw some back, and then Baines converts a penalty in close-to overtime for the 3-2 win.
