the Seven Sisters reference in summary had horrible memories flooding back. Of all the nasty places to go in the eighties, Spurs was one of the worst. After an hour trying to avoid The Sisters like we were told too, and with no sign of getting back into town, we wandered down there sure it would be safe by now. when we arrived smoke was billowing out the entrance and a load of people running off in the other direction. we took the chance and jumped on an empty tube only to be swamped by cockneys just before it left. we were split to all areas of the carriage and I had five ugly cockneys standing next to me moaning that if they had a gun instead of a knife they could have got a few scousers. One of then stared me in the eye for about five mins then asked me if I had the time on me. I mumbled in a slight cockney accent that I didn't then pushed my way off at some unknown stop not knowing where my mates were. still remember that night as when we won the league though. 2 1...that will do on Sunday, maybe without the nasty cockney t wat s after the game though

Nice one Chico(what's the yewtree references seen that a few times on here?). I am thinking we can scrape a away win here, spurs don't always show up the game after europe and they got a bit of a run around last night.

COYB 1-2 Everton

No excuses then is there with Bale and Lennon and Defoe out?

Three points or that's a rubbish return off the easiest away against any rival we'll have in the run-in.

Watching them last night, they do like to shoot on sight from the edge of the box and even without Bale one or two could go in, maybe with a deflection, think we need 2 or 3 here whatever happens. looking at the chances Basle created so much reliant on Jelavic taking his percentages inside the box

We're going to be very weak in midfield without Fellaini, Pienaar or Mirallas though.
Echo reckon Mirallas hasn't trained all week.
I'd feel more confident being able to call on the likes of Sigurdsson and Dempsey than Naismith...

ah well ...Mirallas seems to have more freedom when he isn't there so maybe its not as big a loss.

First Everton away day (despite WHL being about 30 minutes from my front door here), pretty excited! Any particular pubs that blues are gathering in?

Number one priority is keeping a clean sheet.
We do that I go to bed on Sunday happy.
Any goals scored in addition to that will set me RS-style delusional :)

if mirallas is out barkley will start, you heard it here first...moyes is going for it now

I'd start Barkley anyway, behind Anichebe and put Jelavic on the bench for later in the game. This would give us more presence in midfield but also needs Mirallas to be fit for his pace on the break. Mind you, I would faint slightly if Moyes did this.
