We really need to rout a team soon to send a message but I can't see it happening against Palace. Pulis has done a very good job since he took over.

Stoke, Stevange, Qpr, Fulham?

4 goals in 4 different games is pretty good.

In terms of Premier League opposition, the last occurrence was against Fulham on December 14th, and even then its debatable to suggest they are of a Premier League standard this season.

Stevenage were the worst team points-per-game wise in English football in 2013: http://www.sportingintelligence.com/2013/12/30/number-crunch-the-best-and-worst-of-english-league-football-in-2013-301201/

I'll give you the Stoke one but that was back in November.

Beating a well organised side like Palace 4-0 would be a completely different story.

...a bit of proportionality, remember that this Manager is in his first season and exceeding expectation. The team have done amazing to transition so quickly, but in the scheme of things there will be downs until he stabilises the whole club. Saying that, its a measure of where we are that a defeat at Spurs is taken so badly. I suppose much is because we deserved more. Palace will be a tough nut to crack, Pulis has got them organised and difficult to break down. Keep your chins up.

I know what you mean, but after his breath of fresh air start it was disappointing to see his horrible game plan at Liverpool and then at Tottenham - in the 2nd half, anyway. That's the way I've seen it.
