Osman played well so far, McCarthy with a mixed bag as he's given the ball away a few times. Special mention to Naismith who is having a great game, holds the ball up better than Lukaku and his first touch has been spot on.

Not Osman bashing but you can see why many get frustrated with him. He has been sublime at times then awful at others. He has lost the ball too many times but in the same breath has created very well. This is Osman......good and bad, he does something good then does something equally bad.

Very pleased with the boys though so far.

You'd think with all our striker issues, 2 managers, and the boatload of chances he been put on the pitch by them, that Naismith would have gotten a run at striker before this month.

Playing well, I think we look more likely to score plus we got a couple goalscorers on the bench.

On the other side Dembele is excellent today.

Had martinez shown some positively we would be winning this, bossing the midfield and fullbacks but naff all up top/behind the striker.

Said it before barkley/mcgeady should of started and traore/delofeu coming on at half time

We've been going at Spurs for the entire first half, we've had more possession, more chances, and have been going for the three points from the get go.

Playing Osman and Naismith does not mean he's not being 'positive'.

Dominated the half just lacked the finish.

Blue-tinted glasses here mate. I think if anything we shaded it but far from dominated. About 15mins to 35 mins Tottenham had us pushed back, we came back into it in the last 10 mins.

Even game, there to be won. As I say, this is a half that will determine whether we'll be also-rans (content with battling for 5th-7th) or serious contenders for top 4. That Mirallas chance summed up the difference.
