I've decided to relax now. We're not going to get relegated and I'm not going to fret about getting a European place, I'm just going to look forward to seeing how Carlo reshapes the team in his image for next season.

I don’t expect much difference next season, pretty much same as the last few.
We won’t do much business in the transfer market, the club have already hinted at it, we’re not as attractive as we think we are, we’re not gonna get world beaters.

I hope I’m wrong but I don’t expect to see that much of a different squad next season.

Having said all that, It’s amazing how much impact one or two of the right type of Players can have on a team .
Also we need a bit of luck. Over the last few years we have had tremendous bad luck with really serious injuries. Ridiculous levels of bad luck that have destroyed our seasons. Way more than any other club.
This year alone we have had Gbamin, Gomez and Tocsun suffer career threatening injuries.
I recent years we have also lost Bolasie, Coleman and McCarthy.
It’s prevented them playing and prevented us selling.

Last night was extremely disappointing, not just the result but the whole attitude of the players. Hopefully there are a few of them playing for their Everton future and they don’t seem to care a jot.
Carlo can set up a team to make us had to beat but if the players don’t play we are going nowhere.
Spurs players were going to fight with each other because some thought others weren’t putting enough effort in, our players can’t muster the effort to fight the opposition.

Jordan Pickford - he always looks like he has a mistake in him and the fact he cannot focus it seems for at least a full 90 mins is worrying

Iwobi -Whoever controls the transfers at Arsenal should be on the New Years honours list. The fact they got us to take Iwobi and Walcott of there wage bill AND give them a decent money for each of them is amazing. He offers nothing but pace which seems good but he does nothing with.

Sidbire (sorry about the spelling) he ran the ball out of play and no one was on him but what was more worrying that no one was at it. I have seen people shouting at five a side between mates shouting because people miss an easy chance this was a pro footballer letting a ball run out of play and no one was at him for it. Spurs keeper and striker were fighting each other when the striker didn’t track back after one shot.....it showed passion, we just thought we would give Spurs a free throw in.

Lucas Digine - love this guy but his dead ball needs to be so much better we how so many chances to test the keeper and I don’t think we did that once.

Siggy - how can a £45 million pound player go missing once we let one goal in.Pulling out of challenges aside did he do one pass or shot that made us think this could lead to somthing. He also is so slow. Which is fine if you have the skill of Pirlo or someone close to that bit he doesn’t.

Our MF our defence and strikers can improve with but if our MF was a poker hand we would throw it in and fold. It’s worrying that we need so many new midfielders to start again.

I thought they could be different sizes within certain dimensions. Pretty sure we used to make the pitch smaller when we played United years back.
You're right. I was sure I heard a commentator say last season the pitch compliances were much tighter and that anfield and selhurst park were the only two which couldn't comply due to the closeness of the stands behind their goals. Turns out I'm wrong. Anyway, goodison is the widest pitch (78 yards)! Not the longest though.

Old trafford and etihad are the two overall (length and width) largest pitches. Would you believe the vitality is third overall largest! Again, the camera angle (low and close to the side of the pitch) makes their pitch look tiny. The differences between all the premier league pitches are small and irrelevant really, so it really is a myth that, say, the etihad or London stadium are massive and the vitality is tiny. Our perception of pitch size all depends on the height and proximity of the tv camera in relation to the pitch. Sorry for boring you lot, but I hate it when I hear someone say such and such pitch is massive when really there isn't a huge difference between most pitches.

Probably wouldn't have made a blind bit of difference but still. Lol it took so long and lol it happens after we play them.
