Spot on. Spurs have noone in their side with real pace and always give the defences a chance to get back and recover. Would have liked to have seen a bit more adventure from the off.

Fact is we didn’t replace Richarlison or Dominic Calvert-Lewin (who needs replacing) and this was the top priority. We can’t score and that’s not going to change any time soon. So as welcome as the defensive improvements are it’s poor recruitment to totally ignore the major priority.

We spent that money across the team. You're not going to fix everything in 1 window.

You replace a £50million winger...with a £50million winger. You want a 10 goal a season striker you spend £30+million on one. We couldn't do that.

It's a rebuild. You build from the back.

We’ve been garbage all season really. We scraped past an out of form West Ham and an always crap Southampton. Probably just about deserved to edge out Leeds but then Brentford should have blitzed us. Good performance against Liverpool. That second half today was shameful. May as well not have bothered coming out for the half.
