Sorry. It was a mild and not entirely serious bit of teasing.

If you want me to be brutally honest and serious. In the world we live in today, I rarely hear about or think about Everton. Maybe when we play you twice a year. Or when we buy your best players. That's about it. It is regrettable that you have fallen so far. I loved the great sides of the 80s.
It’s a good job your mob have won so many trophies in the last 20 odd years

No, there's no excuses. We need to see some progress now and a reaction to last weekend's abysmal performance. We can't afford to write off any match. To be fair to the manager, he's had the team competitive in every game so far. Any write-off or hammering would be a serious set-back. I expect another competitive display. We may not win the game, we may not even draw it, but we must demand competitiveness. If we're going to start giving people passes and writing off matches, we might as well write off the manager and the season. He's here to get results - or at least have us compete for them. More of the same as the rest of the season to date this weekend, please. Competitiveness.
???

I like Ronnie G, sound bloke and tells it like it is.

His book 'Blue Nose' is well worth a read.
I met Ronnie on a stay behind one Monday afternoon, before all day drinking became part of our culture, in Bevington Bush, he joined our company and we had a good couple of hours together, definitely a Blue and one of us.

I guess the important thing to remember is that none of it really matters. We support Spurs and Everton because, at the end of the day, we must like to suffer. Otherwise we would support Arsenal, Chelsea or Liverpool. But when we are up, when we win it is so much sweeter. And, of course, we are not like those other basic tossers

I still hope that you have someone sent off from a dodgy decision and we stuff you…

I support Everton because my parents support Everton, as did all of my Grandparents and all of my Great Grandparents, going back to the era of Dixie Dean.

It is nothing to do with suffering. It's our city, community, family and friends.

All of that really matters.

Up the Toffees.

Exactly you stick with it. Many of the great grandchildren of others who watched Dixie Dean support Liverpool, City and Chelsea. It is easier to support the team that is winning…

It is also Liverpool’s City, community, family and friends

Yet you choose to suffer…

On why you don't support better London teams that win things:
It would be easy, won’t it. But I don’t want to be like those basic tossers
So by your own measuring stick you also choose to suffer supporting a crap team.

You have room temperature IQ and I bid you farewell.
