I've noticed we have played much better this season against teams that dont by pass the midfield with direct sh it. The best examples have been he first halves against the sh ite and the mancs because we have been able to press high up the pitch playing a high defensive line. The Spurs game is another opportunity to do the same. The pressure we apply without the ball will be vital. If we deny Modric and VDV time and space we can cut off the supply line to their wingers we are in business. As already mentioned they are short at the back so while we wont enjoy as much of the ball as we did at Fulham, Brum and Villa we will still have enough on the field to create 3 or 4 decent chances. Anyway thats the game plan, 1-0 blues.
