I think we should get Heitinga to take out VDV and Bale with a couple of De Jong dropkicks. Then hope the 10 man team can do the job.

I wonder how he would be able to get them to stand close to each other long enough to execute the double drop kick. Perhaps on a corner? Afterwards he can blame that exposure to De Jong and Van Bommel are to blame.

It's very difficult to predict this game, as we (Spurs) really haven't played particuarly well in any Prem game this season, despite being 5th. Thankfully 3 of our best 4 players (not including King), will be fresh and Gomes and Modric hardly played and VDV was suspended last night. I think it'll a be a draw. We've got one of the best defensive records in the Prem, but hardly ever keep a clean sheet, so I can see it being 1-1. If we had a pacey front man, we'd be very good side, but our current options are Pav and Crouch, so it really causes us so many problems. You can play a fairly high line and not worry too much of a threat through the middle.

Welcome mate, it's a tough one that's for sure like.

I dislike spurs.

They seem to be a trendy team here in states and it just makes me angry.

I'm really looking forward to this one. Michigan football has the week off so having this game to wake up to keeps the weekend fantastic.

i think we have a good chance with this one with the combination of our momentum and their tough loss in the CL. however, i feel as if i pick everton we are doomed to lose by many. so i will say 2-1 to spurs and hope i'm wrong

1: Thx to Steve Nash.. Spurs is his team

2: Go Buckeyes !!

Whoever plays DM needs to man mark the crap out of Van Der Vaart, like Johnny H did with Steeeeevie last weekend.

Would happily take a point in this one, Spurs will be either shagged or tails up, big time.

Piennar is out according to the BBC.

My team would be:

Howard
Neville - Jagielka - Distin - Baines
Heitinga
Coleman - Arteta - Bilyaletdinov
Cahill
Yakubu

If Pienaar's out, we're buggered. But assuming Heitinga and Arteta make it back (please, God), then I'd go for:

Howard
Neville Jags Distin Baines
Coleman Arteta Heitinga Gueye
Cahill
Yakubu

And bring Bily on second half for Gueye, or the other way around. I'd like to see Gueye get a chance anyway, seeing as it looks like the seemingly first choice and second choice left mids are injured.

And as a sidenote, it's amazing the quality we have now. Without Fellaini, Pienaar, Saha, Osman and Rodwell, we can still field a strong team -- and a decent midfield.

EDIT: Some good news for once:
