Well a lot of Czechs aren't too keen on the British after Chamberlain did the dirty on them, but I am slowly persuading her of the pure capitalist way. She still won't have it that privatising the NHS is for her own good though

Looking forward to the track and field at London 2012, but dreading the Olympics on one level: the neo-nazi's waving their blood stained butcher's apron Union Jacks all over the shop. Look at this storm trooper.

When I read the opening words my heart skipped a beat - a DaveK happy post?

Thankfully he pulled it back with some anti-Brit popcorn

Speaking of the Olympics, I cycled through the route of the torch relay today and there were people already lining the route. Thought I'd get a cheer or something. Nothing. Miserable buggers.

I'm not sure Froome has the team around him to win this. Uran there, but no Wiggins or Rodgers. He must feel a bit deserted and at the mercy of Contador and Cobo. Wiggins wouldn't stand a chance in this race without Froome or Rodgers riding for him. If Froome does win it'll be one of the most remarkable grand tour wins ever given also his tough schedule since the Giro.
