Speaking of the Olympics, I cycled through the route of the torch relay today and there were people already lining the route. Thought I'd get a cheer or something. Nothing. Miserable buggers.

Any point making a thread for La Vuelta?

Happy to keep it all in here. Huge amount of mountains in this race. Can Contador come back as good as when he left? Can Froome keep his form for a 2nd grand tour in a row? Will one of Cobo or Rodriguez jump from the pack?

Should be a good race.

I'm not sure Froome has the team around him to win this. Uran there, but no Wiggins or Rodgers. He must feel a bit deserted and at the mercy of Contador and Cobo. Wiggins wouldn't stand a chance in this race without Froome or Rodgers riding for him. If Froome does win it'll be one of the most remarkable grand tour wins ever given also his tough schedule since the Giro.
