Feel sorry for Froome. He gets the depleted SKY squad whilst Wiggins sits at home detoxifying himself of the drugs in his system and laughing his bollocks off at the prospect of Froome getting mugged in the Alps.

That's poor even for you Dave. Pretty much exactly this squad have been dominating races all season. Most people would say the removal of Cavendish and Eisel in favour of the likes of Kiryenka was a big improvement in quality for Froome. For some reason it's all fallen apart for them in the last few days.

Two riders out and one carrying on with broken ribs is a hell of a knock back for any team, Sky or any other.
What is interesting is that the 'dope sayers' arent out in force because i)Froome didnt win the TT ii)he got a minute plus ripped out of him today albeit with little team support.
Great stage Cav, been a top day for sport, listened to the cricket all day and watched the cycling. Cav was so hyped up at the move me made to the 'echelon' in his interview - and the tip toes for the models was even funnier.
Lets see if Froome can accelerate away from world champions like he did last year when he shot off away from Wiggins in the mountains again and again.

I think Froome is in big trouble because his team are horrendous and Saxo look very strong. Froome is going toget isolated again and again.

Lets see how Saxo do today. Sure yesterday will have taken it out of them. Rabobank could be the dark horses. Mollema did well yesterday without expending any of his domestiques in doing so.

Good Lad 'Froomedog' (???) the game of chess has turned, Contador pushed his side yesterday and took a minute 20, but they were spent today and with a rest tomorrow Froome put the hammer down. King of the mountains as well oh my.
Nairo rides like a machine, not that its one industrial pace but his face appears to be quite detatched from the rest of his body - zero emotion, no incling of pain and suffering - at just 23 we might be watching the conditioning of a future multiple champion.

I have kept out of this thread on purpose..
But I cant anymore.
Froome is doing it on his own here.. This is off the scale good..
Those of us who watched him last year knew he could have done Wiggins in the mountains.. and he is proving just how good he is.
Brailsford leaves a lot to be desired for me still.. but Im not getting into that.

But Chris Froome - Hats off to you lad.
