Adidas Been getting released on the 4th of May. Basically used the Brussels and changed colours on them. Already got a pair from the last time they got released.

Canal barges?, they are part of the iconic chunky soled terrace wear of the 80's, along with Munchen's, Puma California and Puma G Villas.

As old school as it gets for me.

I`m all for old skool, but they are way way too white.

They`re the type of thing that an Eastern European sex trafficker wears with his mullet, stone wash and black leather bomber ?

Let me know when the sale is on mate, as I`m always in the market for outdoor gear like Ron Hill and Hilly for my trail running.
1st sat of the month in Hyde, they told me they dont do it in summer so I'm thinking May could be the last.
Rab have a shop as well thats open most days but do a quarterly sale as well, thats over in Alfreton or somewhere

Obviously I bought a down jacket 3 weeks ago, but it was £50 from between £175-£225. You have to be there early for when the doors open & whatever is the latest thing put in there gets stripped bare in minutes, like the 1st 20-30 people grab it, I only got the jacket cos someone put it down cos it had no hood, there was then 1 with a bust zip in the 2nd's that had a hood... and as if by magic !! I was lucky that i was next to him when he put it back down after holding on to it for what must have been 3/4 hour.

The Ron Hill stuff though I've got a ton of for the Mrs, jackets for £10 £ £15 that retail at £125, leggings were a fiver, t-shirts £10, Gloves £3. They have loads of the accessories & socks etc as well. I only spent £86 the 1st time and it totalled over £750 worth of stuff.

you missed Gowings off your list of Shops, I've still got my Ruggers.

Gowings is long gone my friend. Theres a light right rail almost almost finished which now runs right up the guts of George St and extends all the way through Surry Hills and down Anzac Parade past Centennial Park.

New shopping precincts running through Town Hall underground connecting all the way down to Pitt St Mall and Grace Bros (now Myer) and a second one running under World Square ( across from the George St Cinemas near chinatown). The old Brewery site at Chippendale has also been completely fixed and is a massive apartment and food district called Spice Alley.

Reckon if you came back to Sydney now mate you’d barely recognise it.
