Obviously I bought a down jacket 3 weeks ago, but it was £50 from between £175-£225. You have to be there early for when the doors open & whatever is the latest thing put in there gets stripped bare in minutes, like the 1st 20-30 people grab it, I only got the jacket cos someone put it down cos it had no hood, there was then 1 with a bust zip in the 2nd's that had a hood... and as if by magic !! I was lucky that i was next to him when he put it back down after holding on to it for what must have been 3/4 hour.

The Ron Hill stuff though I've got a ton of for the Mrs, jackets for £10 £ £15 that retail at £125, leggings were a fiver, t-shirts £10, Gloves £3. They have loads of the accessories & socks etc as well. I only spent £86 the 1st time and it totalled over £750 worth of stuff.

I went to the Rab Sale Today, I was in Alfreton for 8:30 & there was already a queue & a fair old one formed behind me. I'd already got jackets from Mountain equipment so wasn't too bothered about them although the Mrs said look for her a down 1, they were from £100 upwards & appeared to be half price but then you got another 20% off today so a £200 jacket was £80.I I didnt get her 1 though cos stuff I tried on was a bit snug so didnt want to get her something for £80 and it not fit.
I did get her a £65 hoody though for £17.
Got a load of tee-shirts for myself & baselayers that were £6.50, £8 & I think the dearest was a shirt for £12.
Spent £91 & rrp of it all was about £255.
Was worth going & especially if you want a jacket be it waterproof or down, but someone has said that gooutdoors have stuff reduced from rrp so when its then in a sale its almost the same price - unless its a further 20% off sale like today.

Had better pickings in Hyde.

Livid here, I've just seen my receipt from Rab & got charged twice for something - I'm sure they'll sort it out & providing they do it will mean i spent £75 on £255 worth of gear. It was a £45 baselayer that was £16.

Only thing I'd bought in 2019 trainer wise were a pair of Forest Groves, which got absolutely worn to death while I was travelling. Kept them in relatively good knick for a pair of off whites, but yeh, great, comfy trainers.

Cause I'm now a fully fledged Adidas nerd though I couldn't hold back on the Spezial range that came out last month. Went with two of the three trainers - the Earlham and the Silverbearch. I love a plain white shoe so the Earlhams were right up my street, but have to say, the Silverbearch (which on first look I wasn't too arsed about) are class. I'm not one for shoes that stand out too much but they're probably up there with my favourite pairs. Didn't want to risk missing out on them, even though they were a bit costly.

Ohhh, I like the Earlhams!

They are class mate, really smart.

Quite expensive but well worth it imo. Great quality and can't beat a nice white trainer :)

Yes, just been sourcing a pair

Looking at £100. I've drifted away from white trainers recently, but yeah, you can't.
