You do realise that 'playing on the left' doesn't neccesarily make him a winger yes?

Similar to Barkley. When does he actually touch the byline like a winger would?
I'm not talking a classic winger. Who plays them now. Fullbacks do that job.

I'm meaning the left sided "No10", the left forward, the left striker etc

Basically the left side of our attack. Not the center. The fact he can play on the left doesn't mean he can play the center and vice versa.

So we would be left with;

LW - Pienaar (who you want gone)
RW-;Deulofeu / Lennon

Dann i think is too slow and i'd rather we got another Deulofeu type for the left as well as a playmaker.

Lennon isnt the one for me.

IN: Deulofeu, Lennon, Cleverly, Dann, Henen, striker on loan.
Out: McGeady, Distin, Alcaraz, Mirallas.

Would people be happy if this was how we finished up ?

Personally i would be gutted to lose Mirallas, would love the striker to be a different type to Romelu such as Chicarito. We need to shift players like gibson and pienaar, as much as i like them, we actually need players that can make it onto the pitch.

Except it does.

He was their player of the season. I have to say I never really noticed him much but I guess that might be a good thing if you are a CB.

Just don't see it as our priority area of strengthening for that sort out money being branded about. Better using it elsewhere, ACM/LW.
