Weird really as it probably will mean he plays less.

Mind you maybe that's what he wants after playing every single minute of every sodding game despite being 54 years old. Must be knackered.

Although think he enjoys playing, it is why he moved after all, doubt he got that much fun doing it twice a week with a badly damaged ankle like he did during his worst period last year.

He'll know himself that he plays better with a bit of rest but he isn't the sort to cry off playing if not 100% fit - he'll leave that choice to the manager.

I think we did, but we were wary of his previous attitude problems so only wanted him on loan before paying for him.

We wanted him, but only on loan. Don't know why we thought that might work when Inter clearly wanted him gone.

He seemed to have an attitude problem at clubs as big as Bayern and Inter. Just imagine what he'll get up to at a backwater club like Stoke.
