I've always said that there was no way a quality centre half was going to come and sit on the bench. Agree, maybe one of the young lads can step up.

Southampton have been in discussions with Celtic over the potential signing of defender Virgil van Dijk, BBC Scotland has learned.

No offer has yet been made but the 24-year-old Dutchman is one of many targets Saints are pursuing as they look to recruit one more central defender before the transfer window closes.

Where are Coleman and Oviedo going? I think Oviedo is miles ahead of Garbutt and Browning and Galloway need some serious game time before we can proclaim them future partners to Stones.
