I agree Paul, I just think the sooner we get this one sorted one way or the other, the sooner we can move on. It's the uncertainty that's the problem.

What's encouraging is that the like of Van Dijk's haven't moved on as yet , maybe holding out a move to us ? Read on Twitter that he has told close mates that he favours a move to us. Think it was on that toffeetv site.

Look if he was good bigger and better teams would be willing to pay the reported 7.5 mil - I'd rather we turned out intentions elsewhere.
I don't know enough about him to confirm or deny but that logic is flawed. You would have had to say the same about Del, Mirallas, Besic, Stones...Pretty much any bargain player we've got.

Just couldn't see where he would fit in from the off , as if Martinez is going to drop Stones or Jagielka for him. Makes sense from a footballing perspective to go to a team where 1st team football playing alongside Winston Reid is guaranteed.

Don't see why he join us really unless we're promising a starting role but that ain't happening unless we play 3 at the back. People don't seem enamoured with him on here either.

Apparently WHU have bid 20 mil euro for Tunisian CB Abdennour accepted by Monaco. They're definitely preparing for Big Rom next season. Jack Sullivan also tweeted that he expects another 3 signings by the end of the week.

Explain how Barca risking their player to injury in order to maintain fitness benefits anybody but Everton?

They get 1 top level experience for a young player, and 2 a match ready player come January when they wish to use him.

State of him.
