I reckon all this centre back talk is a smokescreen, he's throwing meffs like Evans' name about so that he can swoop in and resign Antolin. He's the new Pistone. I'm not fully joking either.
 

Jan Kirchoff could be a viable option for CB. Currently at Bayern after returning from a loan at Schalke, where he'd been since December 2013.

Looked decent on the few occasions ive seen him - was in an out of the Schalke side. Partly due to injury and just not been able to get into the side. Can also play in defensive midfield (not that we need any more of them), but he's confident in possession. Only 24, and I think he could be a great deal for a season loan. Would free up funds to then aim for a playmaker without having to sell Kev, possibly. Pure speculation this obviously, but just putting it out there.
