Yep, I know exactly what you mean.

There must also be an argument that the money saved in waiting for deadline day must, at least partially, be offset by the points dropped, and therefore lower league placing achieved, by fielding at weaker squad at the start of the season and forgoing valuable prep time.

There is too much bandwagon following in football; one of the things I really liked about Martinez when he first came to Everton was that he seemed to want to challenge lots of taken for granted assumptions - that seemed to evaporate last year, I hope we can get it back.

Pretty much like every single thing that exists on twitter. The amount of so called sources that we supposedly have is stupid, no one has a clue except for Martinez and the board what's going on.

In fact If there was just that sound Belgium journo the only person on twitter, that would make twitter a viable source of interesting news.

Tbf to the lad who posted it he isn't usually one to just make stuff up like that. Also not a nonsense twitter account. Actually the account of another Everton forum, with a lot of shared members with this place.
