Net spend is just a poor argument.

You sell a player for £50m and spend £60m on 4 top quality replacements; yet Watford spend 15m on 10 new players of utter gash. They automatically have a better net spend yet have hardly added quality to the squad

But where do you get a 50 million player in the first place??
