You lads are pissed because you've never heard of him. Give him a chance. He's 3rd choice right now. He could be a steal and be a starter soon enough. I haven't watche too much of him but I've learned that you need to believe in people- Kone we all thought was gash but he hasn't been too shabby this season has he? He plays for Argentina, is fairly young, strong, tall, and has all the makings of a proper CB. We don't need to worry about physicality because he played in South America which is a lot more physical then Europe. Our scouting staff is good, and I think for 5 million he is a very good buy. The River Plate fans fuming makes me even happier.

Funes Mori was one of the team's favorites for the fans. Being just across the pond to them, we hear the news all over here. The thing with this lad is although he's not bad at all, there's a kind of a satirical love for him.
An example, just a couple of weeks ago the Copa Libertadores final (equivalent of Champions League here) took plate at River.
Funes Mori tried a cheeky shot from a long distance and the stadium was all applause and cheering, singing his name non-stop; thing that if it was any other player didn't occur. This Player was once fustigated by the media and local rivals Boca, so the River fans became very defensive about him.
So in a few words, a good defender strong with both feet and in the air in both boxes, but don't get carried away by their fan reactions!

No seriously, I don't really know that well to tell you if he is worth it or not. The few times I saw him, he scored from a header. Defensively speaking, he is nor superb nor terrible, I would say correct. But that's only from the two games I watched! Hopefully un a better team like ours he'll become great
