Not exactly. West Ham have probably offered him everything they can to get him, huge signing on fee, wages, bonuses and first team football. He's went there for the money, it's not worrying because Everton have been dealing with that for years.

If all you care about is playing time then sure. If you have ambition and look at the quality and potential of the two squads, then he'll have a good hard look at coming to Everton. Considering why he's leaving Juve, you're probably correct.
 
Gonna be totally honest and throw this one out here; I honestly don't rate Astori or Ogbonna. I always try to watch Fiorentina games whenever I can ever since we played them in Europe; my first sort of European experience as a young blue and I was dazzled by the purple shirts and the foreign sounding names. That Astori in particular is terrible. Think we'll be much better steering clear of those two.

Any thoughts on the McCarthy for 20m and Lennon that's been thrown around today by various jarg websites?

Spurs fans I've seen want him but seem to think they have too many CM's as it is. Priorities elsewhere on the pitch.
 

I don't know who we're going to get agree to come here just to be our 3rd choice. It's pretty obvious we're not going to drop our captain or Stones unless they're some world class talent so I'm not sure what type of player the move would appeal to. Dann was a good shout because he wanted to move back to the area but Palace value him at some ridiculous price.
 
Can't blame him for choosing West Ham. If he wanted to play for a big club in the big games he just could have stayed in Juve. He wanted playing time and a good pay check, and he probably doesn't mind living in London.
