If Stones goes....never know. Massive long shot of course but we have a chance as hes at leverkusen.

Just leaves a bad taste in the mouth doesn't it DD. Kids barely out of their nappies handing in transfer requests before they've played 50 games. Franny jug ears Jeffers has probably been having a word with him when he's been at FF coaching
 

Like missiles those things, he's not only a free kick specialist either...can really pick a pass.

For all Martinez' talk of a 'playmaker' and building the team around youth he would be the number 1 signing in world football for me.

Only chance we would have is for big money and him wanting to play in the prem.

I've been against Stones going but if this is what we're spending most of the money on ( along with another CB) then we better get the parade routes planned.

Yeah it does definitely and this transfer request is something that I bet the vast majority never saw it coming. I think the team tonight could be interesting, given his age and the though game on Sunday you'd expect Jags to be rested normally for an early round league cup game.

If Martinez is true to his word, and it seems he has been so far, Stones playing could send a real message out to his agent and Chelsea.

Even if we do keep Stones we shouldn't play him until after the international break. If we play him tonight and he does a Lescott then we could be out of the cup.

Browning and Jags tonight. Stones shouldn't even be travelling with the team.

I would have Stones travel and use him as a 3rd sub in order to cup tie him. Who knows...we might have to play Chelsea later on.
