Why are people saying they're not counting Lennon as a signing? I think he had a great spell with us and will make a very useful addition to the team - and for good value too.

Because its the same thing we had last year. Its essentially 'oh, he was injured for the first 4 matches', its not improving us as a team.


And its because its not at all what Roberto has been banging on since May ffs..



I might add Im fine with the signing, think he did a good job with us last year.

We've signed Cleverley, Deulofeu, Mori, Rodriguez, Holgate and possibly Lennon. We've kept McCarthy, Coleman, Barkley, Lukaku, Mirallas and Stones.

Good transfer window in my opinion and far better than last season where we only brought in Besic (can't remember who else).

I know that's not enough for the knee jerkers though who delude themselves in to hoping we're suddenly going to become Man City in the transfer window, signing £50m players for fun.
