We already have a leader. John Stones. A player who leads by example through his ability on the pitch. An Everton captain in the making if i ever saw one.

What sort of commanding player are we going to pick up to come to our club to sit on the bench ? Your description of commanding centre back would cost money i would imagine (10m + range). I honestly don't see the point in going out and spending a fair few bob on a player that will essentially be a back up.

Needs EPL experienced, Ball playing center back, commanding presence and exotic name for shirt sales..... occasional injury concern is acceptable??

I think one of the Premiere League teams released someone, available on a free.....

There is always the loan market.
I agree with you about john stones the only problem for me is i think if he has a good season this year he will be bought by one of the big boys.

We should buy Phil Jones if that's the case, and will have a ready made defence with Cleverley holding just in front of the back 4. Mad times ahead at Goodison.

No, they opposed my support of players such as Osman, Hibbert and Neville, which I found difficult to stomach being a fan, and despite my tender age, 9 years old if you will, I believe that you should support your team and not just the fashionable players such as Arteta, Mirallas, Deulofeu and Lukaku or such like. Its a juvenile belief that I don't see catching on and to that end I can see players such as Cleverley, despite him being the Bradford Messi, getting as much short shrift.
