Might have happened post CL draw, but owner kyboshed that by announcing he was staying almost immediately. Player loves club so wont rock the boat.

Why did we go in for him so late? Do you know if we have any intentions of going in for him in January?

Funny thing is everyone will fume hard tonight and talk about how the board are going to have hell to pay, then we wait a couple weeks for the match, most will have calmed down and forgotten and its business as usual until january when the cycle repeats.

We were never signing Yarmalenko without selling Stones. You know it deep down.
