With Stones looking for a move, we really needed that marquee signing this window. At least a no. 10 who we could point to and say, here's the player that's going to get us going attacking wise and add that creativity we've been needing. I don't expect us to be in contention for European football this season, nor do I expect us to win anything, and I think that in combination with failing to make that big signing we needed is going to have other players joining Stones in looking for the exit next summer. Sorry, I'm feeling very sad and pessimistic right now.
