Anyone ever been hit flush in the nuts by a football? I did once when I trying to make a save. Absolutely one of the worst feelings in the world getting hit flush.

That's what it feels like most days supporting Everton for the past 20 odd years, just taking a good old kick to the ball sack on a daily basis.

Oh well.

why does it have to be 'IF MIRALLAS LEAVES' why can't we just get him as well.

History always bloody repeats it'self with us, we get one or two injuries and it stops us in our tracks.

media's interpretation. we have a replacement in for atsu and if mcgeady goes we get a replacement in for him. think all this talk of replacing mirallas is tosh - if he does go we'd be spending more than £2m.

The way things are going i just don't want the season to start, the s---e are spending like its going out of style. New stand going up while the old lady crumbles, is it any wonder that you hardly ever see young kids in blue tops. 20yrs on there will only be a few blues left, but i will bet boys pen Billy is still in charge.

Capel's completely gone, he tries his best but he's lost a yard of pace and he just can't do it anymore. And that's in the Portuguese League. No thanks.

Mate did you think all this the year Spurs spent all the Bale money on those players who ended up being pap?

Yes, but Liverpool have also lost the two players that carried them so close to the premiership two seasons ago.

There is one thing I admire about Liverpool FC. They always try to have as much power up front as possible.
Benteke, Ings and Sturridge is quite impressive.

You need to score goals to win matches and competition between strikers improves their performance. Ironically, it seems to be the area that we are habitually weak in.

I thought it was a bit odd that £2m was quoted as a price, seemed low, but if he is not the player he was, then it makes sense.

It would be for a team that doesn't pretend to play passing football...

I've just read through this thread's recent pages and given out warnings to nearly every post on two particular pages.

Two members have accrued bans, so please remain on topic folks. Most of you don't need this warning.

Diego Capel is essentially a Spanish version of McGeady. Bit of an enigma, predicted for big things and then never really materialised. Not for me. Unlike that steaming hot chick.
