I don't think, in fact I'm convinced we don't have anywhere near 20 million left to spend without a sale.

Time will tell if I'm wrong.

I don't who that sale will be really, I don't think we'll see any major out except perhaps Mirallas and even then we'll not get much more than £10m for him.

If you are right, there are plenty on here myself included who will be fuming, as in the current climate it'd be beyond a joke.

I hope you are right but I still think the number 10 will be a loanee unless we sell a star player.

if we're loaning a 'number 10' it'll hardly be worth it cos they'll be completely useless.

Ospina is not very tall for a goalkeeper at just six foot. Howard is three inches taller than him and Joel at least four.
Most of the better keepers now are very tall which helps them dominate the area.
He may be a good keeper, but I think he is too small.

agree, a lot of arsenal ex pundits are in agreement.

Any transfer window/budget can be summed up just like when any of us get money to spend. for example:
We might like to buy a certain product, but a slightly lesser product or sometimes better product is on offer elsewhere.
So we make our finances stretch and end up with something better/equal than we initially set out for.

I am very impressed with adding Deulofeu and Cleverley for very little outlay.
We will be enquiring about loads of players in the hope of landing a few more bargains.

Although we need a new Centre Half and a quality No10, I would like to see a quality keeper come in as that is an area that needs strengthening imo.

southall was only about 5' 7" mate and a keeper such as shilton was just a shade over 5' , true

Southall is 6ft 1 btw.

Yeah a lad that I coach is only 5'2" and he's mustard. He's only 9 by the way but still decent !!!

How many central midfielders do we actually need though? You not think that is an area we are more than covered with decent players?
