Not particularly, good player but we are fairly well stocked in central midfield anyway and not a big fan generally of players that refuse to play.

I remember when Rooney signed one of his United contracts there was loads of talks about him wanting to know about their transfer targets and everything. Absolute madness if you ask me.

I would not say £15m for a 24yr old international goalscoring midfielder was hefty. How much would an english player of the same skill cost. Jack Rodwell cost City that much, and i know who i would pick.
