if this austin story is correct as well as the fee, i'd guess that means we'd look at a loan for centre back instead of a perm transfer. unless martinez was holding back £15m for january as well as an expensive playmaker and ....

haha couldn't quite finish that sentence off
 

BU saying that Austin is a done deal is a win/win situation for them IMO.

If it comes off, it will boost their credibility.
If it doesn't happen, they will say we wouldn't cough up the cash, Kenwright out etc.

If it didn't come off and they said it was down to Kenwright not willing to splash the cash, I reckon it would reflect bad on them because there will be plenty out there saying they made it all up just to have a dig at Kenwright.

The replies to the SOS1878 tweets in Twitter suggest to me they have NO credibility. Everyone pretty much not having it, where as if Everton Aren't we tweeted it I think the response would've more positive
