Not defending the regime but leasing the land has nothing to do with whether we planned or paid for the development of the facilities. Common practice in ventures like this to have to pay for the considerable work as a tenant.

We are the only team to do this in the premiership. We sold Bellafield for 9 million to pay debts, could not raise the funds to build a new one ourselves.
Since Finch Farm has been built we have paid circa 9 million in rent, we have another chance to buy it in two years for the region of 15 million.
The original construction cost was about 8 million. If we want to own it in 2017 it will have cost us in the region of 27 million.
We done it this way via a developer because it was the only way we could afford to get it done. Another short term solution like Kitbag which would kick us in the arse long term.
