Fly to Siem Reap for 5 days, drive (akin Miss Daisy/Greenbook) to Phnom penh for a few days then down to Koh Rong (what could possibly) for 8 days to meet son and his chis. They have been travelling around Asia for 5 months but their 'advice' is literally happy pizza and Karaoke!

I have been warned about pick-pockets in PP but apparently all pretty safe otherwise. Would you agree?

One horrible thing about Cambodia is that don’t see many men over 65ish due to mass genocide and if you do, there’s a good chance they were ex Khmer.

They used to have a massive weapons surplus, not sure if it’s still the case but 20 odd years ago you could pay 200 USD to go into the countryside and shoot a RPG. There was stories about people paying to shoot chickens and cows with AK47s.

Was like the Wild West.

I never seen this. People used to go on a day trip to the killing fields followed by the shooting range. Seemed pretty dumb to me. I just preferred to have some beers and talk nonsense
