The wording of a few of them mean Tim Howard could be an answer? Sticking with Americans Brad Friedal has had enough clubs to be one. Thought Groucho was on the money with VdS in consecutive seasons with United but doubt Fulham kept many clean sheets at Goodison.
 
One I found out today.

Post war, 3 Eberton players have been the seasons top scorers in the top flight, but when at other clubs. If that makes sense.

This has really got me, I must say.

Was thinking Lawton at chelsea maybe but I think he faded a bit post war. Cottee scored lots but I don't think he was ever best in the league. Latchford had his best years at everton as did vernon.

Sure I'll kick myself when someone gets it but I can't see it.
