I remember once AF posted a question with 27 possible answers and Reids got 26 of them with his first guess and discounted the last one as "a little bit tenuous really".

Irritated I missed your question tho roydo, do another one.

I added up all the right answers at one point, to see who was best at these questions, and Reid and Groucho each had as many as like everyone else put together.
 
I do cheat though a lot of the time, or research, whichever way you want to look at it ?

And Bob the pole is my generic answer.

AF waits 'til I'm not here to post a question that he's the answer to.


Still haven't found the answer to 1 of my own though.....

There was a game in the 80's where 5 or 6 of our team that were on the field had captained their country, and in a few weeks prior to the game as well.

I only know because we were commenting at the time that we had 5 or 6 captains and lacked any kind of leadership on the field.
