SuperCup was what teams that qualified for Europe played in cos of the ban, only lasted 1 season though and we played R/S in final, I'm sure that the final was played the season after because of both fixture congestion and apathy.
It may have been in that finals 1st leg that Shaggy Stevens & Beglin flew into a tackle with Beglin getting his leg smashed?
they trounced us over 2 legs btw.
I think it was in 1 of our 'Group' games that we led N'castle 5-0 at H-T, then the next 1/2 was one of the most boring halves of footy in History as N'castle did everything to avoid conceding anymore & we did everything possible to not use any energy.

...surprised at that, thought we'd lost a couple more. Remember the 66 game very well with famous pre-match procession with the World Cup, FA Cup and Championship trophy. Roger Hunt blasted a 25 yarder in the top corner of Gwladys St net - you sort of get used to that happening against that lot.
