Following on from an earlier question, excluding the British Isles nations, players from how many different countries have made it onto the pitch or subs bench for Everton at first team level.
And once we have the number of countries, we can move onto the number of different players themselves from outside the British Isles.
I did have a go one rainy lunchtime to scribble down a list on both, so while I think it is correct, I can't promise it is absolutely definitive.
I've asked loads of questions like this so I should be able to do alright here.
USA: howard, mcbride, moore, donovan. Canada: radzinski. Jamaica: beckford. Costa rica; Oviedo. Ecuador: Castillo. Argentina: Straq. Brazil: Jo, anderson, rodrigo. Paraguay: Alcaraz.
That's it for the americas I think.
I would exclude Beckford, born in London.
You are missing one American.
South Africa: Pienaar and Murray. Ivory Coast: Bakayoko and Kone. Ghana: Atsu and Nyarko. Nigeria: Yobo, Akpan, Yakubu, Anichebe, Amokachi. And did Said ever make the bench, if he did than Egypt for him. And again if nisala ever made the bench, dr congo for him.
Missing an Ivory Coast player. Hope Akpan was born in Liverpool, so excluded as I am looking for players born outside of the British Isles to have played for Everton.
Er, can you remind me who Murray is?

China: li and li. Australia: Cahill, Neill, Keaton and I can't remember the same of that kid we sold to blackpool and vidmar was it the other one. Israel: Tal.
And just europe left, I'll let someone else do that.
Oh and possibly gueye for senegal and junior for guinea bissau.
So you'd be counting the likes of Gough and van den hauwe then?
Vidmar not on my list, can't ever remember him having anything to do with Everton.
